The Search In-Bond Status Queries page in BorderConnect’s U.S. In-Bond Manager provides a complete history of all in-bond status queries sent to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) from your account.

Search fields on the Search In-Bond Status Queries page

This page is used to:

  • Review CBP responses for previously queried in-bonds
  • Track the lifecycle of in-bond shipments over time
  • Quickly locate a specific in-bond status update
  • Send new status queries by in-bond number, bill of lading, or air waybill

Page Overview

The Search In-Bond Status Queries page contains three main areas:

Section Purpose
Quick Action Buttons Send new status queries directly to CBP
Search Filters Locate specific queries by number or date
Results List View CBP responses and query history

Quick Action Buttons

Located above the search filters, these buttons allow you to immediately send new CBP status requests.

Button What It Does
Send In-Bond Status Query Sends a query using an in-bond entry number
Query Bill of Lading Sends a CBP query using a bill of lading number
Query Air Waybill Sends a CBP query using an air waybill and optional house waybill

Each option opens the appropriate query form and transmits the request to CBP. Responses typically return within one to two minutes and appear in the results list.

Search Filters Section

This section allows you to locate any status query previously sent from your account.

You can filter by:

  • In-bond entry number
  • Date the query was sent
  • Combination of both

By default, results show queries sent within the last week.

Search Displays queries matching your filters
Reset Restores default one week date range
Clear Removes all filters for custom searching

Common uses include:

  • Reviewing all updates for a specific in-bond
  • Auditing activity over a certain time period
  • Locating the most recent CBP response

Each row represents a CBP status query and response.

Displayed information includes:

  • Query send date
  • CBP response date
  • In-bond entry number
  • Current status
  • User who submitted the query
