PARS Shipments Basic Overview (CBSA Shipments)
|
🔖 This article is part of the BorderConnect PARS Software Guide |
This guide explains how to monitor and manage PARS shipments using BorderConnect’s PARS Checking Software powered by CBSA’s Release Notification System (RNS).

It assumes that:
- Your BorderConnect account is active
- Your carrier is registered for RNS
- Brokers are submitting PARS entries using your carrier code
Once a broker files a PARS declaration and CBSA accepts it, the shipment will automatically appear in BorderConnect for real time tracking.
Understanding PARS Shipment Lists
BorderConnect organizes PARS activity into easy-to-read status based listings.
| Listing | What It Shows | When to Use It |
|---|---|---|
| Newest Shipments | Most recent accepted and released PARS shipments | Daily operations and driver readiness |
| Accepted Shipments | Shipments accepted by CBSA but not yet released | Confirm clearance before border arrival |
| Released Shipments | Shipments released by CBSA | Proof of crossing and audit records |
| Purged Shipments | Aged or removed shipments | Cleanup and exception handling |
| RMD Shipments | Shipments released using RMD service option | Warehouse and special release tracking |
Newest Shipments View
The Newest Shipments screen is the primary working dashboard for most users.
Navigate to:
PARS Shipments → Newest Shipments
This page contains two live sections:
