History
Founded in Windsor, Ontario, BorderConnect developed a pioneering PARS tracking service utilizing the Release Notification System. This innovative solution quickly gained popularity, assisting hundreds of companies by 2006. Recognizing the mandatory requirement of ACE Manifests by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), we responded by developing an ACE Manifest solution focused on fast data entry, enabling companies to create eManifests more efficiently than through CBP's ACE Portal.
Understanding the need for constant availability, BorderConnect introduced 24/7/365 eManifest processing and support for highway carriers. This groundbreaking initiative empowered hundreds of carriers to process ACE and later ACI eManifests, while receiving the timely support they require at any given time.
When the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) introduced ACI eManifest, BorderConnect was quick to respond with one of the first ACI eManifest software solutions. This ensured our customers had a familiar and user-friendly experience similar to our ACE eManifest software.
Continuing our commitment to seamless integration, BorderConnect launched an eManifest API for third-party software, providing a simple solution for fleet management and other business software to connect with BorderConnect. This streamlined eManifest data entry for ACE and ACI, enabling our clients to enhance their fleet management and overall operational efficiency.
Responding to the changing requirements for U.S. In-Bond shipments by the U.S. CBP, BorderConnect developed an intuitive In-Bond Manager. This easy-to-use tool empowers our customers to track in-bond shipments, ensuring swift and accurate arrival and export processes.
