Edit ACE eManifest Page

Update the core trip details, ports, and arrival times for an existing ACE Manifest.

Overview

The Edit ACE eManifest Page allows you to update the core trip details of an existing U.S. ACE truck manifest in BorderConnect. This page is typically used when arrival times change, a different port will be used, or the trip number needs correction before transmission to CBP.

How to Access:
From the ACE Manifest Details Page, click the Edit button located in the top-left section of the page.

When Should You Edit?

Use this page when you need to:

Correct Trip Number: Fix typos or change the reference number (before transmission).
Update Port: Change the U.S. port of arrival if the driver's route changes.
Adjust ETA: Update the estimated arrival date and time due to delays or rescheduling.
Fix Errors: Correct data entry mistakes identified during internal review.

Note: If the manifest has already been transmitted to CBP, changing the Trip Number is not recommended. For ETA or Port changes on transmitted trips, you must re-sync or send an amendment after saving.

Trip Details Fields

The following fields control the header information of your manifest:

Field	What it Controls	Best Practice
Trip Number	The unique CBP identifier (SCAC + Reference).	Keep consistent with your internal dispatch or load numbers.
U.S. Port of Arrival	The border crossing location.	Select the official port code that matches the driver's actual crossing point.
Estimated Arrival Date	The planned day of arrival.	Update this if the schedule shifts by more than a day.
Estimated Arrival Time	The planned time of arrival.	Adjust to maintain reasonably accurate timing for CBP officers.

Page Actions

Button	Function
Save	Applies your changes and returns you to the Manifest Details Page.
Cancel	Discards any changes made and returns you to the details page without updating.
Clear	Removes all entered values so you can start fresh (use with caution).

Typical Workflow

Edit Sequence

1. Open ACE Manifest Details. 2. Click Edit. 3. Update the Trip Number or ETA info. 4. Click Save. 5. If the trip was already on file, transmit the update to CBP.
