ACI eManifest Details Page
The central workspace for managing, tracking, and transmitting Canadian ACI manifests.
Overview
The ACI eManifest Details Page is the central hub for managing a manifest in BorderConnect’s ACI eManifest software. From this single dashboard, you can build your trip, assign assets, transmit data to CBSA, and monitor real-time status updates.
This page serves as your primary reference for every manifest, allowing you to:
- Review all trip and shipment information.
- Monitor CBSA responses and current status.
- Make edits and corrections.
- Assign trucks, trailers, drivers, and shipments.
- Transmit updates to CBSA.
- Track manifest history and compliance timing.
How to Reach This Page:
- Saving a new ACI eManifest.
- Clicking View from the ACI eManifest Search Page.
- Using the Back to ACI eManifest links found on shipment or equipment pages.
Main Action Buttons

The control bar allows you to manage the manifest's data and documentation.
| Button | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Edit | Modify key trip details such as the Trip Number, Port of Entry, Sublocation, or ETA. |
| Export | Download the eManifest data in JSON format (options available for including history). |
| Generate a PDF Driver’s Copy (Standard or Detailed format). | |
| Fax / Email | Send the Driver’s Copy directly to a driver or dispatcher from the system. |
| Track | Configure email alerts for CBSA responses to flag activity on this specific manifest. |
Manifest Status & History

This section is critical for maintaining compliance and troubleshooting issues.
Details Panel
Displays the current snapshot of the trip: Trip Number, Port, ETA, Sublocation/Warehouse, and the overall Current Status.
History Panel
Records a complete audit trail of all activity. This is where you verify:
- One-Hour Notice: Confirm exactly when the "Accepted" message was received.
- Border Activity: See when the truck arrived at the border.
- Rejects: View detailed error messages from CBSA for corrections.
- Edits: Track all changes made to the manifest.
Truck Assignment

Truck information is mandatory. Validation warnings will appear here if data is incomplete.

| Quick Assign Truck | Fastest way to attach an existing truck profile by Unit Number. |
| Add Truck | Opens a manual selection screen with additional options. |
| Change / Remove | Replace or detach the currently assigned truck. |
| Set Cargo Exemption | Apply special status flags (e.g., Flying Truck, IIT, Mail). |
| Add Seal | Record seal numbers associated with the truck. |
Trailer Assignment

Trailers must be listed if they are physically present on the trip.
- Quick Assign: Fast lookup by unit number or plate.
- Multiple Trailers: Supports pup/double-drop configurations.
- Seals & Exemptions: Manage seals and IIT exemptions specific to the trailer.
Driver & Passenger Section

Note: Driver and passenger information is optional for ACI eManifests and is not transmitted to CBSA. It is used primarily for internal reference and generating driver paperwork.

Shipment Management

All commercial goods aboard the conveyance must be attached to the manifest.

|---|---|
| Create New Shipment | Build a brand new shipment and attach it immediately. |
| Quick Assign Shipment | Attach an existing "Unassociated Shipment" by Cargo Control Number. |
| View / Detach | Review details or remove the shipment from this specific manifest. |
| Send Status Query | Manually request a status update from CBSA for the shipment. |
Advanced Options
Hidden Sections (Show All)

Clicking Show All reveals advanced tools including:
- Containers: Required for containerized cargo.
- Documents: Upload section for paperwork.
- EDI History: Raw data transmission logs.
- Change Log: Audit of user activity.
Container Management

If your cargo is in a steamship container, it must be listed here.
- Capabilities: Add multiple containers, assign specific seals, and set cargo exemptions.
