The Driver Details Page is where users can view and edit a driver profile in BorderConnect. The page displays the driver's general information, travel documents, PARS sequences, comments, and CSA details when applicable.

The Driver Details Page can be accessed from several areas in BorderConnect:
| Access Point | How to Open the Driver Details Page |
|---|---|
| Driver Search Page | Click the View link for the driver. |
| Add New Driver Page or Edit Driver Page | Click Save after creating or editing the driver. |
| Driver Details for eManifest Page | Click View Driver. |
| ACI eManifest Details Page | Click the View link for the driver. |
Driver Details Section
The Driver Details section displays the main driver profile information, including the driver's name, date of birth, citizenship, and other general profile data. It is located at the top of the Driver Details Page.
The top left of this section displays validation messages that indicate whether the driver profile is ready to be used on ACE and ACI eManifests. If required information is missing or incorrect, BorderConnect displays a validation warning so the user can update the profile before using the driver on a manifest.
| Button | Description |
|---|---|
| Edit Driver | Opens the Edit Driver Page so the user can update the driver's general profile information. |
| Delete | Deletes the driver profile. |
Travel Document Section
This section allows the user to manage the driver's travel documents or identification records. Existing travel documents are listed here, along with options to add, edit, or delete documents.

Travel documents are only required when the driver profile will be used on ACE eManifests and the driver does not have a FAST Card. In that case, the user must enter two travel documents, including one Commercial Driver's License and one other travel document.
| Button or Link | Description |
|---|---|
| Add Travel Document | Opens a screen where the user can add a travel document type, document number, and issuing state, province, or country. Click Save to add the document and return to the Driver Details Page. |
| Edit | Opens the selected travel document so the user can make changes. Click Save to update the document and return to the Driver Details Page. |
| Delete | Removes the selected travel document from the driver profile. |
PARS Sequences Section
This section allows the user to track PARS stickers issued to the driver. It displays all currently entered PARS sequences, the number of stickers remaining in each sequence, and options to add, edit, move, deactivate, or delete a sequence.

PARS sequences are only used with BorderConnect's PARS Checking software. If the company does not subscribe to PARS Checking, it is generally not necessary to enter PARS sequences on driver profiles.
| Button or Link | Description |
|---|---|
| Add PARS Sequence | Opens a screen where the user can add a PARS sequence assigned to the driver. |
| Edit | Opens the selected PARS sequence so the user can update it. |
| Change Driver | Moves the selected PARS sequence to a different driver profile. |
| Deactivate | Makes the selected PARS sequence inactive. This is generally not recommended unless instructed by BorderConnect support or company procedure. |
| Delete | Deletes the selected PARS sequence from the driver profile. |
When adding a PARS sequence, the user must select the Carrier Code, PARS position, first value, and last value. Select MIDDLE/VISIBLE if the word PARS is part of the PARS numbers in the sequence; otherwise, select TOP/HIDDEN or BOTTOM/HIDDEN.
A PARS sequence cannot contain more than 100 PARS numbers. After entering the sequence information, click Save to add the PARS sequence to the driver profile and return to the Driver Details Page.
Comment Section
This section allows the user to add and view comments about the driver. Comments are for internal user reference only and can be used to record information that does not belong in another driver profile field.

| Button or Link | Description |
|---|---|
| Add Comment | Opens a screen where the user can type a new comment. Click Save to add the comment and return to the Driver Details Page. |
| Edit | Opens the selected comment so it can be changed. Click Save to update the comment and return to the Driver Details Page. |
| Delete | Removes the selected comment from the driver profile. |
CSA Details Section
This section allows the user to manage CSA details for the driver. It displays currently entered CSA details, including the owner/operator business address and the current status of the CSA profile with CBSA.

CSA details should only be used when both of the following conditions apply:
| Requirement | Description |
|---|---|
| Carrier setup | The carrier is subscribed to BorderConnect's ACI eManifest software and is approved for transmitting CSA data. |
| Driver setup | The driver is an owner/operator employed by the carrier. |
When these conditions apply, CSA details are used to transmit CSA Trade Chain Partner (TCP) data to CBSA.
| Button | Description |
|---|---|
| Add CSA Details | Opens a separate page where CSA details can be entered. The field legend indicates which fields are required. Click Save to add the CSA details and return to the Driver Details Page. |
| Edit CSA Details | Opens the CSA details page so the user can update the driver's CSA information. Click Save to update the CSA details and return to the Driver Details Page. |
| Send CSA Profile Updates | Sends CSA profile information to CBSA. This button is only available if the account is enabled for ACI eManifest and approved for transmitting CSA data. |
When moving the mouse over Send CSA Profile Updates, the user can choose between Send Add CSA Profile Request and Send Delete CSA Profile Request. Choose Add to transmit new CSA data, or choose Delete to remove previously transmitted CSA data.
Best Practices
Keep driver profiles updated before assigning drivers to ACE or ACI eManifests. Missing travel documents, incorrect citizenship, or incomplete profile information can prevent a driver from being used on a manifest.
Use comments for internal notes only. Comments are helpful for dispatch and administrative reference, but they should not be used as a substitute for required profile fields.
Review CSA details carefully before sending updates to CBSA. CSA profile transmissions should only be completed by users who understand the carrier's CSA setup and approval status.
