:(One Yellow Bar) The ACI eManifest is currently active but has not been transmitted to CBSA yet. It's recommended to finish entering data for the eManifest and send it to CBSA using the Sync with CBSA button from the ACI eManifest Details page.
:(One Purple Bar) The QP In-Bond is currently active but has not been transmitted to CBP yet. It's recommended to finish entering data for the QP In-Bond and send it to CBP using the Send QP In-Bond button from the Send to CBP drop-down button on the QP In-Bond Details page.

;Cancelled
;Not On File
:(One Red Bar) The ACI eManifest which was previously submitted to CBSA has now been cancelled and the eManifest has been removed from customs system. To receive a Cancelled status a user must have transmitted a Cancel eManifest from the top of the ACI eManifest Details page and subsequently received a successful cancelled message from CBSA.
:(One Red Bar) The U.S. In-Bond received a response from an In-Bond Status Query which indicates that the In-Bond has not been filed with CBP yet either by a customs broker, a third-party or filed as a QP In-Bond. In this scenario it's recommended to file a QP In-Bond for this entry number (using BorderConnect), or contact another party responsible for filing the bond.

;Transmitted to CBSA
;On File
:(Two Yellow Bars) The ACI eManifest was recently transmitted to CBSA but has not received a response yet. During normal operation a response will usually arrive in 2-4 minutes upon transmitting the ACI eManifest to CBSA. This status is common when initially sending your eManifest to CBSA or syncing an ACI eManifest that you recently made changes to.
:(Three Green Bars) The U.S. In-Bond is accepted and on file with CBP. This status is common after successfully transmitting a QP In-Bond or receiving a response from an In-Bond Status Query.

;CBSA Returned Error
;Enroute
:(Two Brown Bars) This status indicates that the ACI eManifest has returned an error message back from CBSA after either transmitting the initial manifest to CBSA or revising information on your manifest and re-syncing the ACI with CBSA. In cases like this it's important to determine what the error is and to resolve the issue before re-syncing the ACI eManifest with CBSA. Insight on the error or reject message is provided in the ACI eManifest History section of the ACI eManifest Details Page. A quick chat or call with BorderConnect eManifest Support can also guide you to resolve the error. To learn how to resolve common ACI eManifest rejects visit the Correcting Rejected ACI eManifests Guide.
:(Four Blue Bars) This status indicates that the U.S. In-Bond has successfully entered into the U.S. and/or has been authorized for movement within the United States by a CBP officer at the time of arrival. This status is common after receiving a response from an In-Bond Status Query.

;On File With CBSA
;Arrived
:(Three Blue Bars) This status means that the ACI eManifest is accepted and on file with CBSA. If the ACI eManifest does not have a PARS shipment then this status indicates that the driver will be ready to approach the border after the required one-hour wait period has concluded.
:(Five Dark Green Bars) This status means that the U.S. In-Bond has been successfully arrived at the bonded location and an electronic arrival message has been accepted by CBP by using either BorderConnect U.S. In-Bond Manager or a third-party responsible for managing the in-bond. If the bond is a type 61 Immediate Transportation bond, nothing further needs to be done and the bond is now closed.

;On File with Match Notice
;Exported
:(Three Light Blue Bars) This status is common when the ACI eManifest is on file with a PARS shipment. It indicates that the Cargo Control Number on the ACI eManifest also has a linked message in the Release Notification System (RNS). If this response is received it's recommended to send a Status Query for the PARS shipment as it may have a Declaration Accept Message in RNS. Visit the Status Query Guide here to learn how to send them. If a Declaration Accept Message is received after sending the status query the ACI eManifest will automatically update to On File with Transaction Number(s).
:(Six Green Bars) This status is common when the U.S. In-Bond is a type 62 Transportation and Exportation bond. It indicates that the in-bond has been released from the U.S. bonded location and has been authorized for movement at a foreign destination. This status is received after transmitting an export message for the shipment using ACE Manifest, using BorderConnect's U.S. In-Bond Manager, or sending an In-Bond Status Query. If the in-bond is a type 62 Transportation and Exportation bond, nothing further needs to be done and the bond is closed.

;On File With Transaction Number(s)
;Concluded
:(Four Green Bars) This status is common when the ACI eManifest has a PARS shipment. This means that a transaction number has been processed and certified by CBSA from the customs broker and that the driver is now clear to approach the border after the required one-hour wait period has concluded. For PARS shipments a transaction number will also be provided in the ACI eManifest history section of the ACI eManifest Details page.
:(Six Green Bars) This status is common when the U.S. In-Bond is a type 62 Transportation and Exportation bond destined to Mexico, or changed to a different bond type with the original bond entry number. When type 62 in-bond shipments are destined to Mexico the Mexican carrier or carriers authorized to do business in Mexico, the in-bond is changed to a type 61 Immediate Transportation bond under the same bond entry number. As a result of this an export message will not work in most circumstances and will not close the bond unless a Check For Subsequent Bond is transmitted to CBP. If the bond has been successfully exported, sending a Check for Subsequent Bond will result in a Concluded status and the bond will be closed and no further action is needed.

;Arrival Reported at Border
;Rejected
:(Five Dark Green Bars) This status means that the driver has been reported as arrived at the First Port of Entry by the CBSA officer. Typically when the ACI has been reported as arrived it means that the shipment does not have a release message because it is not a PARS or In-Bond shipment, as such the status will remain at Arrival Reported at Border indefinitely, even if the shipment is released by the officer. Another reason the ACI is in an arrival state is because the driver is awaiting a secondary inspection before being released, or that there could be an issue with the driver or ACI eManifest. If there is an issue with the ACI eManifest, the officer will in some cases report it as rejected at arrival and the status will soon be updated to Rejected after Arrival at Border.
:(Two Brown Bars) This status indicated that an error has been received either when transmitting a QP In-Bond or when receiving an In-Bond Status Query response from CBP. The reject message details will be provided in the QP In-Bond History Section of the QP In-Bond Details page. It's recommended to reach out to BorderConnect support if you are unsure how to resolve the issue.

;Rejected after Arrival at Border

:(Five Brown Bars) This status indicates that the ACI eManifest was rejected by the CBSA officer at the border, or requested to be rejected at the time of arrival due to an issue on the ACI eManifest and information needs to be corrected. With this status it's recommended to reach out to the driver and determine why the status is in a Rejected after Arrival state and to resolve the issue. If there is an issue with the ACI eManifest (as provided by the CBSA officer), it's recommended to reach out to BorderConnect eManifest Support so they can help resolve the issue. After the information on the ACI eManifest has been corrected an Amendment will have to be transmitted to CBSA from the Send to CBSA drop-down menu on the ACI eManifest Details Page, doing this will change the status back to Transmitted to CBSA. If the Amendment is accepted the ACI eManifest status will change to Arrival Reported at Border, however if the Amendment fails the status will remain at Rejected after Arrival at Border.

;Released
:(Six Green Bars) This means that the ACI Manifest with either a PARS or In-Bond shipment has been successfully released by the CBSA officer at the First Port of Entry or from a Sufferance Warehouse and the shipment is headed to it's final destination within Canada. No further action is required.

A list of different U.S. In-Bond statuses in BorderConnect

Unique to BorderConnect, a U.S. In-Bond Status is a color coded object within the U.S. In-Bond Dashboard page, the QP In-Bond Search Page and the QP In-Bond Details Page that helps users easily determine the U.S. In-Bond's current state with U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

U.S. In-Bond status will update automatically either when a QP In-Bond is transmitted or receives a specific response through a Status Query from CBP thereby updating the in-bond status.

List of U.S. In-Bond Statuses

Unknown
(One Purple Bar) The QP In-Bond is currently active but has not been transmitted to CBP yet. It's recommended to finish entering data for the QP In-Bond and send it to CBP using the Send QP In-Bond button from the Send to CBP drop-down button on the QP In-Bond Details page.
Not On File
(One Red Bar) The U.S.
On File
(Three Green Bars) The U.S. In-Bond is accepted and on file with CBP. This status is common after successfully transmitting a QP In-Bond or receiving a response from an In-Bond Status Query.
Enroute
(Four Blue Bars) This status indicates that the U.S. In-Bond has successfully entered into the U.S. and/or has been authorized for movement within the United States by a CBP officer at the time of arrival. This status is common after receiving a response from an In-Bond Status Query.
Arrived
(Five Dark Green Bars) This status means that the U.S.
Exported
(Six Green Bars) This status is common when the U.S.
Concluded
(Six Green Bars) This status is common when the U.S.
Rejected
(Two Brown Bars) This status indicated that an error has been received either when transmitting a QP In-Bond or when receiving an In-Bond Status Query response from CBP. The reject message details will be provided in the QP In-Bond History Section of the QP In-Bond Details page. It's recommended to reach out to BorderConnect support if you are unsure how to resolve the issue.
