Add Trailer Page (ACE and ACI eManifest)

The Add Trailer Page is where users create and store Trailer Profiles in BorderConnect eManifest software. Trailer Profiles are used when building ACE and ACI eManifests and help ensure conveyance information is entered consistently and accurately.
You can open the Add Trailer Page in several ways:
- From the Manage Data menu by selecting Create Trailer
- From the Trailer Search Page by clicking Create Trailer
- From the Trailer section of an ACE Manifest by selecting Create New Trailer
Creating a Trailer Profile
This section contains all required fields used to define the trailer. Required fields are indicated in the legend at the bottom of the page.

Helpful Tips
- Use consistent trailer numbers to match internal fleet records
- Double check license plate details to prevent manifest validation errors
- Select the closest trailer type if the exact option is not listed
After Saving
Once saved, the trailer will:
- Appear in Trailer Search results
- Be available for selection on ACE and ACI eManifests
- Open automatically in the Trailer Details Page for review or edits
