The Trailer Search Page in BorderConnect eManifest software allows users to quickly locate, review, update, and manage Trailer Profiles. Maintaining accurate trailer records ensures smoother ACE and ACI eManifest creation and reduces data entry errors.

Selecting Search Trailers from the Manage Data menu

You can access the Trailer Search Page by:

  • Opening the Manage Data menu and selecting Search Trailers
  • Selecting Show All Trailers to immediately view every trailer in the system

By default, all trailers are displayed when the page loads.

Key Actions at the Top of the Page

Button Purpose
Create Trailer Opens the Add Trailer Page to create a new Trailer Profile
Export Trailers (CSV) Downloads the current results into a spreadsheet

Search Section

 

The Search Section lets you filter trailer records using multiple criteria. This is especially useful for large fleets.

Common ways to search include:

  • Trailer number
  • License plate number
  • Trailer type or terminal (if applicable)

Once your search fields are entered, use the buttons below to control results.

Button What It Does
Search Displays trailers matching your criteria
Reset Clears fields and reloads all trailers
Clear Empties all search boxes without running a search

Results Section

The Results Section displays all trailers that match your search filters. Each row represents a Trailer Profile and includes quick action links.

Action Description
View Opens the Trailer Details Page to review full information
Edit Opens the Edit Trailer Page to update trailer data
Delete Permanently removes the trailer from BorderConnect

If more than one page of results appears, use the arrow icons at the bottom of the list to move between pages.

Best Practices

  • Use consistent trailer numbering across your fleet
  • Keep license plate details current to avoid manifest errors
  • Periodically review inactive or outdated trailers
