The Trailer Details Page in BorderConnect eManifest software is where users view, manage, and update individual Trailer Profiles. This page centralizes all trailer information used for ACE and ACI eManifest filings, helping ensure accuracy and faster manifest creation.

You can reach the Trailer Details Page in several ways:
- From the Trailer Search Page by clicking View next to a trailer
- After saving a new trailer on the Add Trailer Page
- After editing a trailer on the Edit Trailer Page
- From eManifest pages by selecting View Trailer next to an assigned trailer
Trailer Details Section
This section at the top of the page displays the core trailer information used in manifests.

| Trailer Number | Internal unit number used to identify the trailer |
| Trailer Type | Type of trailer such as dry van, reefer, flatbed, or other |
| ACE ID | ACE identifier associated with the trailer if applicable |
Available Actions
- Edit Trailer
- Opens the Edit Trailer Page to update general trailer information
- Delete
- Permanently removes the Trailer Profile from BorderConnect
License Plate Section
This section manages the license plate information linked to the trailer.

License plates are required when the trailer will be used on ACE or ACI eManifests.
| Platform | Plate Rules |
|---|---|
| ACE eManifest | Up to two plates may be entered for double drop trailers |
| ACI eManifest | Only one plate is supported |
To maintain compatibility across both systems, it is strongly recommended to enter only one license plate whenever possible.
Managing License Plates
- Add License Plate to Trailer
- Adds a new plate number and state or province to the trailer profile
- Edit
- Updates an existing plate record
- Delete
- Removes the license plate from the trailer
Comment Section
The Comment Section allows users to store internal notes about the trailer.

- Ownership details

- Creates a new note attached to the trailer profile

- Updates an existing comment
- Delete
- Removes a comment permanently
