Truck Details Page
Review, manage, and update truck profiles and license plate information.
Overview
The Truck Details Page is where users can review, manage, and update individual Truck Profiles in BorderConnect eManifest software. It centralizes all truck information used for ACE and ACI eManifests and provides quick tools for editing records, managing license plates, and adding internal notes.

How to Access:
- From the Truck Search Page by selecting View beside a truck.
- After saving a new or edited truck from the Add Truck Page.
- From an ACE eManifest by clicking View Truck.
- From the ACI eManifest Details Page.
Truck Details
This section appears at the top of the page and displays the core truck information used on manifests.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Truck Number | Identifies the unit within your fleet. |
| VIN | Uniquely identifies the vehicle for compliance (Vehicle Identification Number). |
| Vehicle Type | Defines the conveyance type used on eManifests (e.g., Truck, Tractor). |
| Terminal | Shows the assigned office or location. |
Action Buttons
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Edit Truck | Opens the Edit Truck Page to update general information. |
| Delete | Permanently removes the Truck Profile from your account. |
License Plates
This section manages the license plate assigned to the truck. The plate information is required when using the truck on ACE or ACI eManifests. Only one license plate should be associated with each Truck Profile.
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Add License Plate to Truck | Adds a new plate number and state/province. |
| Edit | Updates existing plate information. |
| Delete | Removes the plate from the Truck Profile. |
Why it matters: License plate data is transmitted to customs authorities as part of conveyance reporting. Incorrect or missing plates may cause manifest validation errors or border delays.
Internal Comments
The Comment Section allows users to record internal notes related to the truck. These comments are not transmitted to customs and are for company reference only.
Common Uses:
- Maintenance notes.
- Special operating instructions.
- Assignment reminders.
