Shipment Information Fields
These fields define the regulatory status and identification of the shipment.
| Field | Description & Requirements |
|---|---|
| Shipment Type | Indicates the type of Customs clearance (e.g., PAPS, Section 321, IIT). |
| Shipment Control Number | The unique identifier for CBP (e.g., PAPS Number). Format: Must begin with a SCAC (selected from dropdown) followed by at least 4 alphanumeric characters. |
| Province of Loading | The province where the goods were shipped from. Best Practice: Match the province listed under the Shipper's address on the paperwork. Defaults to the last province used. |
| Attached to Trip Number | Indicates which manifest the shipment is attached to. Usage: Auto-filled if created from a manifest. To change, type the trip number and select it from the list. Leave blank to make it an "Unassociated Shipment". |
