QP Importing Carriers Search Page (U.S. In-Bond Manager)

The Search QP Importing Carriers Page is a page in BorderConnect U.S. In-Bond Manager that allows the user to search for and manage QP Importing Carrier profiles used when creating QP in-bonds.
It can be accessed from the U.S. In-Bonds menu by clicking QP Importing Carriers.
Creating New QP Importing Carriers
Click Create New QP Importing Carrier to add a new QP Importing Carrier profile. This is often done automatically while entering a QP in-bond, which is usually more efficient, but carriers can also be created manually from this page.
The Add QP Importing Carrier page includes the following fields:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The importing carrier's company name. |
| Mode of Transportation | The transportation mode, such as truck, rail, air, or ocean. |
| SCAC/Carrier Code | The carrier's identifying code used for in-bond reporting. |
| Country | The country where the carrier is based. |
Click Save to add the QP Importing Carrier profile and return to the Search QP Importing Carriers page.
Search Section
The Search section allows the user to search for QP Importing Carriers by name, SCAC/Carrier Code, mode of transportation, country, and active or inactive status. By default, the page displays QP Importing Carriers according to the default search settings.
| Button | Description |
|---|---|
| Search | Searches using the entered options and displays matching profiles in the Results section. |
| Reset | Clears the other search options and resets the criteria to the default settings. |
| Clear | Clears all search fields so new criteria can be entered. |
Results Section
The Results section displays the QP Importing Carriers generated by the search options. Each result includes action links in the three-dot tooltip menu on the right side of the row. If more than one page of results is available, use the arrow icons to move through the additional pages.

|---|---|
| Edit | Opens the selected QP Importing Carrier profile so the user can update it. Clicking Save updates the profile and returns the user to the Search QP Importing Carriers Page. |
| Archive | Deactivates the selected QP Importing Carrier and removes it from default search results. |
