Getting Started with BorderConnect
Before creating your first eManifest, you should set up core profiles used throughout the system. Profile information is reused across manifests and shipments to reduce data entry and ensure accuracy.
Required Profiles
| Profile Type | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Driver Profiles | Identify drivers crossing the border |
| Passenger Profiles | Record passengers accompanying drivers |
| Truck Profiles | Store tractor details for conveyances |
| Trailer Profiles | Store trailer details used on manifests |
It is strongly recommended that profiles be created and maintained in advance to streamline manifest creation.
