WP Send Request Search Page (U.S. In-Bond Manager)

The Search for WP Send Requests Page is a page in BorderConnect U.S. In-Bond Manager where the user can view WP in-bond send requests. It can be accessed from the U.S. In-Bonds menu by selecting WP Send Request Search.
This page provides visibility into recent and historical WP in-bond requests, including arrival, export, port diversion, and transfer of liability messages sent to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). It is useful for confirming successful transmissions, reviewing timestamps, and troubleshooting rejected requests.
Quick Action Buttons
The top of the page includes shortcuts for sending new in-bond messages to CBP. For step-by-step instructions, see the Reporting In-Bond Arrivals and Exports Guide.
- Send Arrival Request
- Used to send a new WP in-bond arrival message to CBP. Hovering over this button reveals these options:
- Arrive Entire In-Bond
- Arrive Bill of Lading
- Arrive Container
- Send Export Request
- Used to send a new WP in-bond export message to CBP. Hovering over this button reveals these options:
- Export Entire In-Bond
- Export Bill of Lading
- Export Container
- Send Port Diversion Request
- Used to send a Port Diversion request to CBP for a WP in-bond. Clicking this button brings the user to the Send In-Bond Port Diversion Message page.
- Send Transfer of Liability Request
- Used to send a Transfer of Liability request to CBP for a WP in-bond. Clicking this button brings the user to the Send In-Bond Transfer of Liability Message page.
WP Send Request Search Section
The search section allows the user to search for WP in-bond send request responses using several filters. By default, the page displays WP request responses with a Date Sent Between value of one week ago through the present day, along with the In-Bond Entry Number search field.
Enabling Show All Fields reveals additional search fields, including:
- Master Bill of Lading Number
- Send Request Type
- Status
- Container Number
- Housebill Number
- Search Button
- Searches for WP in-bond send requests using the selected filters. Matching results are displayed in the WP Send Request Results section below.
- Reset Button
- Restores the default search options. The Date Sent Between filter is reset to one week ago through the present day, other search options are cleared, and recent WP in-bond send requests are displayed again.
- Clear Button
- Clears all search options so the user can enter a new search.
WP Send Request Results Section

The results section displays the WP in-bond send requests that match the search filters. Each result can include:
- Entry Number
- Entry Type
- Request Type
- Status
- Send Date
- Response Date
- User who sent the request
The View link or eyeball icon opens the response details for a specific WP send request. This is where the user can review the CBP response and message history for that request. If more than one page of results is available, use the arrow icons to move between result pages.
Common Uses
The WP Send Request Search page is commonly used to:
- Confirm that an arrival, export, port diversion, or transfer of liability message was sent to CBP.
- Verify the transmit time and CBP response date.
- Find rejected or problem requests and review the response details.
- Review historical in-bond message activity for operational or compliance purposes.
