The Edit ACE Manifest Page is where users edit the main trip details of an existing manifest in BorderConnect ACE Manifest software. This page is used to update the trip number, U.S. port of arrival, estimated arrival date, and estimated arrival time.
The Edit ACE Manifest Page can be accessed from the ACE Manifest Details Page by clicking the Edit button in the top left corner.

Page Buttons
| Button | Description |

| Save | Saves the data entered on the page. This button can only be used when all required fields have been completed. Clicking Save updates the manifest and returns the user to the ACE Manifest Details Page. |
| Cancel | Cancels the attempt to edit the manifest. Any unsaved changes are discarded, and the user is returned to the ACE Manifest Details Page. |
| Clear | Clears the data from all fields on the page, making the fields blank. |
Manifest Fields
| Field | Description |

| Trip Number | A unique number used to identify the manifest for CBP. The trip number always begins with a SCAC, selected from the drop-down menu, followed by 4 to 21 letters or numbers entered by the user. The trip number must be unique. |
| U.S. Port of Arrival | The U.S. port where the driver will enter the United States. The user can type the city name or port code to search for the port. In most cases, typing the Canadian border city can also bring up the corresponding U.S. port of arrival. |
| Estimated Arrival Date | The date the driver is expected to arrive at the U.S. border. The field defaults to the current date. The user can enter a different date using the format mm/dd/yyyy or select a date using the calendar icon. The eraser icon clears the currently entered date. |
| Estimated Arrival Time | The time the driver is expected to arrive at the U.S. border. The field defaults to the current time plus two hours. The user can change it using the hour, minute, and AM/PM drop-down menus. |
Trip Number Tips
The trip number must be unique for each ACE Manifest. Reusing a previous trip number can cause transmission or processing issues with CBP.
Common trip number strategies include using an internal load number, using the date with a sequence number, or starting with a number such as 0001 and counting upward. The best method is one that is easy for the carrier to track and prevents duplicate trip numbers.
Editing Tips
Review the ACE Manifest details before saving changes. If the trip has already been transmitted, changes may need to be synced or retransmitted depending on the manifest status.
Update the estimated arrival date and time if the driver is delayed or crossing earlier than expected. Keeping the ETA accurate helps maintain clean manifest records and avoids confusion at the port.
Use Cancel instead of the browser back button when leaving the page without saving. This keeps the workflow clear and returns the user to the ACE Manifest Details Page.
