In-Bond Dashboard (U.S. In-Bond Manager)

The U.S. In-Bonds Dashboard is a page in BorderConnect U.S. In-Bond Manager where users can view and manage U.S. in-bonds in BorderConnect.
The dashboard can be opened from the U.S. In-Bonds menu by selecting In-Bond Dashboard. From this page, users can see recent in-bond shipments, send status queries, search reports, export search results, and open the details for an in-bond report.

Dashboard sections
The In-Bond Dashboard is divided into two main sections:
- Search options: filters and actions used to search, reset, clear, export, or send a status query.
- Search results: the list of in-bond reports that match the search criteria.
In-bond reports
An in-bond report is a summary of what BorderConnect knows about an in-bond on the user's account. It combines data from in-bond status queries, electronic reports sent to CBP, and updates from ACE eManifests on the account.
Each in-bond report listed in the results section shows:
- in-bond entry number;
- current known status;
- in-bond type;
- bill of lading number; and
- date the report was last updated.
To view additional details, click the View link on a report or click anywhere on the report row. This opens the in-bond report details page for that in-bond.
Sending an in-bond status query
The Send In-Bond Status Query button is located at the top left of the dashboard, just above the advanced search options.
To send a query:
- Type the in-bond number.
- Click Send In-Bond Status Query to CBP.
- Wait for CBP to respond and create or update the in-bond report.
It is recommended to send a status query as soon as the in-bond number is known, such as when a customs broker advises that the in-bond is on file. This helps the in-bond appear on the dashboard so it can be tracked through its lifecycle.
Dashboard controls

| Export | Downloads a .csv file containing information from the current search results. |
| Search | Searches for in-bonds based on the criteria entered in the search fields. |
| Reset | Resets the search criteria to the default settings, including the default Date Created Between range of the last 30 days. |
| Clear | Clears all search fields so the user can start a new search. |
