The Search For QP Carrier Codes Page is a page in BorderConnect U.S. In-Bond Manager where the user can view and manage QP carrier codes entered into BorderConnect.[1] These carrier codes, also called SCACs, are used for QP in-bond shipments.

It can be accessed from the U.S. In-Bonds menu by selecting QP Subscribed Carrier Codes.[1]
BorderConnect’s U.S. In-Bond Manager is used to electronically report in-bond arrivals, exports, and port diversions to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).[2] CBP explains that ACE enables electronic in-bond requests through the Automated Broker Interface (ABI), known as QP, to update a shipment record.[3]
For a more detailed guide on creating and submitting QP In-Bonds to CBP, see Creating and Submitting a New QP In-Bond.
QP Carrier Codes Search Options
This section allows the user to search for QP carrier codes by Carrier Code/SCAC or carrier name.
| Button | Description |
|---|---|
| Search | Searches for QP carrier codes using the entered search options and displays matching results in the QP Carrier Codes listing. |
| Reset | Resets the search options to the default settings. |
| Clear | Clears all search options so new criteria can be entered. |
Carrier code profiles should be reviewed carefully before they are used on a QP In-Bond. CBP’s in-bond regulations require in-bond applications to include carrier-related and transportation information, so an incorrect carrier code can lead to filing errors or follow-up work.[4]
QP Carrier Codes Listing Section

The listing section displays the carrier codes generated by the search options. Each result includes action links in the three-dot tooltip menu on the right side of the row. If more than one page of results is available, use the arrow icons to move through the additional pages.
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Edit | Opens the Edit Carrier Code page. Clicking Save updates the profile and returns the user to the Search QP Carrier Codes Page. |
| Delete | Deletes the QP Carrier Code from BorderConnect. |
Before deleting a QP carrier code, users should confirm it is no longer needed for recurring filings or other company workflows. BorderConnect also provides a separate Search Carrier Code Queries Page for querying and managing ABI Carrier Codes, which can be used when a user needs to look up or confirm carrier code information with CBP.[5]
